UITP offers many services to its members and the sector at large.

Whether we build knowledge within specific organisations, or share innovations with the entire sector, all of our services and tools help us in our goal of advancing sustainable urban mobility.

ADVANCING TALENT IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT

UITP Academy

The UITP Academy advances talent for public transport stakeholders through a variety of training services - including custom in-house trainings, open-calendar programmes, and a growing body of e-learning options.

It also helps business improve their services through analysis and fresh insights for managerial, administrative and operational processes, with valuable reporting and recommendations by UITP and hands-on international experts.

In the past year, our offer continued to grow. We organised 39 trainings, out of which 15 were virtual, enabling people from all over the globe to join more easily. We also hosted 17 in-house trainings for various organisations.

We opened four new training centres in Dakar (Senegal), Gauteng (South Africa), Istanbul (Turkey) and New Jersey (USA), with our local partners on the ground. We also led two important peer reviews and assessments on various topics in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

Learning Management System

Finally, we scaled up the training opportunities on the Learning Management System (LMS), our digital platform for delivering, tracking and reporting on training programmes. In 2023, we offered more than 10 courses on the platform, which were used by over 1,100 users.
